Especially since telegram is not encrypted by default....

im pretty sure xmpp/jabber supports groups, just make sure youre using the off the record plugin and a server that supports it. e.g. calyxinstitute.org

Telegram will not be safe in coming days. Good thinking. Any new entreprenuers can take this up and launch their project now.

I'm agree with you , with the plugin you can utilize encrypted communication . It could be better alternative to Telegram.

Maybe try Simple x or session(signal fork)..

I’d use Signal. Have used Session, but it’s too slow. It took about 10 minutes sending some small .py file.

jabber but that kind of privacy group have a barrier to entry that a lot of people dont understand.
