First time since December 2021 that Bitcoin has been above 50,000. Halving of the per block reward from 6.25 to 3.125 Bitcoins per block (10 min) happens in April. Past rises in prices have tended to come before halving.

It might have sth to do with the bitcoin Spot ETF approval, as this means more retail investors will be able to buy bitcoin through an ETF, which is a lot easier than signing up for those crypto exchanges and go through verifications etc. And that will push bitcoin price higher. Just who knows to what level tho
