Reading the Blackcat/Lockbit drama... This cartel announcement makes no sense after last week. Why would anyone work with someone like blackcat after they have shown they're so compromised? Just look at all the problems
1. ALPHV's account is probably being run by someone else now the way he talks changed this week
2. Info from feds openly states that there was a leaker inside Blackcat, so why would Lockbit want to work with someone with this kind of insider threat?
3. Lockbit was trying to recruit Blackcat devs, but this all probably happened because ALPHV treats his affiliates badly. I bet devs will leave now if ALPHV stays involved.
4. One of the devs could be the mole so why even take the risk? makes no sense to me.
5. These rumors that ALPHV affiliate servers are probably honeypots now, especially the new ones. pretty dumb to use them I think
