Today I breached the Chicago City Clerk's Legislation API, the official legislative records system for the City of Chicago government.

Data Exposed :

- 177,566 legislative matters spanning multiple mayoral administrations back to at least 2011, including all ordinances, resolutions, claims, and orders processed by the Chicago City Council
- 69,739 vehicle damage claims containing full legal names of Chicago citizens filing insurance claims against the city for pothole damage and other vehicle incidents, including claim numbers, filing dates, and committee assignments
- 45,472 disabled parking permit records with permit numbers, street addresses where permits are issued (many appearing to be residential home addresses), and in numerous cases the full names of permit holders tied to specific addresses
- 461 lawsuit settlement records exposing police misconduct cases with named officers and civilian plaintiffs, federal case citations, and settlement agreement details including cases such as James Kluppelberg v. Jon Burge et al. and Jackie Wilson v. Jon Burge et al.
- 3,544 city council and committee meeting records with agendas, notices, and associated PDF documents hosted on Azure Government Cloud with direct download URLs
- Approximately 140 government body profiles including all committees, joint committees, and subcommittees with complete member rosters, chair assignments, and term dates
- 123 current and former government officials including all aldermen, mayors (Johnson, Lightfoot, Emanuel, Daley), and city clerks with full contact details including official email addresses, district office phone numbers, City Hall phone extensions, ward office addresses, and official headshot photographs
