So I just finished the Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of Apocalypse and just wanted to ask other people's opinion on why Merlin decided to side with Arthur and why Arthur became evil. I haven't read the manga yet.

Arthur isn't evil. That's just how Chaos works.
