Ghidra and dynamic analysis?

Just getting into RE, for learning and small projects. I've tried Ghidra so far, but i find that even basic dynamic analysis using breakpoints and patching in it is very counterintuitive. I have no experience with IDA. Any thoughts on if it is worth to get ghidra working for dynamic or just use other tools in combination with it?
