If y'all know of any grounded Seinen animes, could ya list some for a brother. I been liking some western themed stories ever since playing RDR2 and really started appreciating the grounded setting al lot. I kinda got burnt out from fantasy elements like magic and ULTRA INSANE POWERS because I feel like it can be kinda tacky and annoying. I do understand that the Anime medium is generally pretty fantasy since it's meant to be either for kids or it's meant to be an escape from IRL shit, but if there are some plz list so I can give em a watch.
Oh btw, it doesn't have to be western themed at all. Could be medieval time period as well.

How about K-on? This anime doesn't have superpowers or magic, it's just a group of high school students participating in music club activities

Try watching the anime Echoes of Terror.
It's a modern setting, but there's no magic or otherworldliness.
