Greenland, Yemen: monopoly part 2

The US president continues to make people talk about himself without having passed the start in an ambiguous game of monopoly.
Greenland on one side... Yemen on the other.
I had done some research and it seems that Greenland, in addition to being a buffer zone that would guarantee national security, is the territory that could govern a new sea route (with the melting of the ice expected in the next ten years). Clearly a supposition.... No one can confirm the true intent...
But what is happening in Yemen seems to confirm it, right? Another territory that overlooks a sea route?
And the duties?
It really seems like he wants to buy up all the squares on the board.
What do you think?
Does anyone have more info on how they are doing in Yemen?

He certainly does care a lot about commerce and about defending the united states interests when it comes to global trade. I don't know exactly how many US ships and goods go through the Suez canal and the red sea route, but for sure he doesn't want them to be constantly attacked by Yemeni militants & pirates. Plus, everyone says the Houthi are supported by Iran, so that might be another reason for bombing their heads.

Related to Greenland, what I don't understand is why Russia is endorsing Trump's plan to get Greenland considering that this would place the US in a strategic position for the northern sea route (as you say), which clearly doesn't benefit Russian interests..

yours is really a very good observation... Russia's position is not clear, which in this "conflict" seems to be on good terms with both China and the USA
