I see a documentary of big japanese company like Sony, Panasonic, Konami, documentary show the inside of these companies building still using fax machine and windows 7 in that the case how come don't hear news of japanese companies constantly getting hacked for using outdated operating system and equipment

There are a multi-factorial explanation about Japan using obsolete tech, is not only FAX or old OSs, a lot of Japaneses are still using Floppy Disks, DVDs and a lot of vintage tech. An important factor is his conservative mentality, if something works, Why spend a lot of money to update that? There are a lot of offices living in the past and for them a simple change can it be a huge problem, teaching employers how to use something "New", wasting time or money, etc. And of course, most of the Bussines and Strategic Indrustries are complete breached by Chinese and North Korean cyberspionage APTs and his Govertments.
