This movie was so bad it forced Toriyama to come back and make the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F movies, which ultimately led to Dragon Ball Super and the revival of the brand as a whole. So I’d say that’s a good stupid reason to like this movie.

In the eyes of manga fans, this "Dragon Ball" is a semi-finished product that has not yet evolved.
