ok for context, I got high and went into a rabbit hole digging into the whole chinese cybercrime ecosystem. I didn't realize it's a pretty big thing over there for them to leverage telecom accesses and deep paket inspection to tap and listen to the users visting certain sites. They then use the available info that was tapped in deep packet inspection and somehow get more info that can be sold to legit marketing companies.
this is all out there it's crazy
