Overview of Operational and Administrative Systems within the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority :
Licensing and Certification Systems: (Licenses for pilots, maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, and Air Operator Certificates AOC), with the ability to modify or extract all records.
Aircraft Registration and Airworthiness System: full access to Libyan aircraft data, certificates of airworthiness, and maintenance and technical failure records.
Air Traffic and Information Systems: (ATM) and airspace management, live flight data, and Aeronautical Information Services (AIS), including Notices to Air Missions (NOTAM).
Security, Safety, and Investigation Systems: access to incident reports, Safety Management System (SMS) risk management files, and technical investigation evidence.
Administrative and Financial Systems: digital archive, official correspondence, electronic signature, and human resources and payroll data.
Electronic Portal: the ability to control public-facing services, license applications, and fees.
Large-scale databases, and the total size of the databases associated with the various systems is estimated to be approximately 300 gigabytes.
