For anyone who needs an installer for a compatible Mac, Apple documents a direct download route here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102662

On a Mac running Catalina or later, softwareupdate --list-full-installers shows the full installers available for that Mac. To fetch a listed version, use softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version VERSION, replacing VERSION with the actual version number from the list. The completed installer appears in Applications. This produces an installer app, not a ready-made ISO; the required image format depends on the installation or virtualization tool. Check hardware compatibility before downloading an older release.
