Telegram is great, it uses End-To-End Encryption, also it only complies with feds for terrorism.

Yes, I observ it is used a lot, for many reasons.  
More than Signal or others I think. But End-To-End is not by default, i think it has to be enabled =>  "Secret Chat"  option ^^
