How to verify and remove metadata from any type of file?

exiftool works great in removing metadata from images/videos. I'm unsure if it works on regular files though.

Just test it out with a few files. If it works, create a python script to remove all metadata in a specific folder or something.

many online tools you can use to read and delete metadata

if you want to do it in bulk, i suggest coding something up in python that reads the file and deletes the metadata.

a simple python script that deletes metadata:

I used to edit photos in a pirated photoshop, then i'd open the image in Windows Gallery and it would just wipe all the Photoshop metadata off the file lol
