I am starting to highly doubt that this is actually a full database leak. Out of the 20+ people I have searched for I have only found 5. Anyone else have similar findings?

There is (and I feel there may have been 2 separate breaches, just a hunch with really nothing to back it up).

The original was allegedly 200GB compressed, 4TB uncompressed (versus about 50GB/275GB for this and 5GB/80GB for the other posted here with emails). The original had US+UK+Canada, this just has US. The forensic analysis I have done shows that it is very unlikely that the files in this thread were on NPD servers (but instead were extracted from the files on the NPD servers, maybe JSON/SQL->CSV or something like that).

Can you please provide torrent? i have 1GB connection yet it takes days and connection gets interrupted every few minutes and cancelled 

I think this might not be the full leak as it contains 200 million lines less than @USDoD claimed, but its size is 277GB which is what vx-underground wrote about

This is the full leak, if you are using Emeditor to open please check if you have space o temporary folder.
Both files is csv and have more than 1B of lines

The torrent magnet worked as expected. I didn't consider these were 50gb compressed files. Very impressive compression. I'm at the point now I tried to import these into a local Splunk instance to search but I came up overestimating Splunk's potential. Trying to 'awk' the files now. I may turn to python.

news reports say this breach has 137m emails. there are no emails in the file. hence this is not the real NPD file...

Some of the SSN's appear to have been sourced from Excel spreadsheets (scientific notation). Quite a few SSNs are matched to the wrong person (sometimes most are the right person, but then one wrong person... sometimes a relative, sometimes someone completely unrelated). Some have a person living somewhere they nor any of their relatives ever lived at (maybe the name is similar to someone that lived there). There are also a lot of cases of people being listed as living at a relative's address (where they never lived). And sometimes seemingly random phone numbers.
