I'm dealing with a recurring issue involving newly added domains on our server. The problem arises right after we send out the first validation email using MailWizz, which results in the new domains getting listed on Spamhaus DBL. Here are the specifics:
Setup: We’ve ensured that all configurations (SPF, DKIM, MX, A, DMARC) are in place and correctly set up.
Existing vs. New Domains: Older domains on the same server are not experiencing any problems, but every new domain ends up blacklisted on Spamhaus after the initial email. Pre-purchase checks showed none of these domains were listed previously.
Spamhaus SMTP Scores: The Spamhaus API indicates that the new domains are given an SMTP score of -5, whereas older ones get a score of -2.
Spamhaus API Details: After sending the first email, the API responds with code "2002", indicating that the domain is classified as spam.
No IP Issues: It's important to note that none of the server’s IP addresses are blacklisted; it's only the domains that are affected.
Everything seems configured correctly on our end, but the consistent blacklisting of new domains is proving frustrating.
Has anyone else run into this kind of problem, or have suggestions on what we could be missing here?
