This person is linked to North Korean hackers stealing hundreds of millions of US dollers. Clearly the US is butthurt about that and that would be why the requested and received the extradition. I know this because South Korea also wanted to have him return to their country for "justice. The terra thing is a little bit of a smokescreen, it was just a front for mixing the bitxoins they were stealing from US citisens.
