In an unknown date, the Minecraft community website planetminecraft.com suffered a data breach exposing over 400k users. The incident exposed usernames and passwords stored as md5 hashes.
Compromised data: Usernames, Passwords Contents Spoiler The .7z File's MD5 Hash is A596878C17ADBBCC1FED61743694B6AB. In total, there are 403414 records. The file is 17.03MB uncompressed and 7.3MB compressed.

investigated this earlier, the date of the breach somewhere between late 2012- early 2013. this was before planetminecraft introduced email:login; as you can see, all the data are username:pws
