It is not Putin who wins the war, but the army. Technically, the Russians have already won, now they are simply
spending their forces more carefully. The Russians do not want to kill Ukrainians unnecessarily
(who are also Russian by blood). I think that if there were more Americans, English or French there, they would have advanced as quickly as in the battles where the Poles fought against them.
I think that Putin expected some serious proposals from Trump, like recognizing new territories for Russia, which today have only been partially captured.
But after the crap that Trump said, everything can change.
If I were Putin, I would have captured Odessa, but I don’t know what Putin is thinking.
