And now, its reign is over after Kaokao legal threats.

The dev of a fork of Tachiyomi called TachiyomiSY with another member of his squad decided to take up the mantle.

The name of the new app to use to read manga on your phone is Mihon !

All you need is the apk you can find here

Aniyomi - Like tachiyomi but you can also add anime sources

Neko - Exclusive mangadex source but has cool features like reccomendations based on your library

Both of these are forks of tachiyomi, so im not sure how they will go forward tho.

Oh, wonderful! Thanks a lot for the share. Personally, I don't think Tachiyomi is going anywhere. It'll probably be the "safe" open-source version for other, more risky readers to get their updates from.
