I think KVM but I used to run VirtualBox with hardened settings. What do you use?

KVM all the way for anything serious, no Oracle bullshit. VirtualBox is fine for quick Windows guest spins or if you're on a non-Linux host.

I think it depend your usage. VirtualBox / VMware workstation pro (whatever we think about actual broadcom strategy) are good "press button" hypervisor, while KVM can have more advanced usages, and can easily be automated (and maybe a better optimization ? I'm not sure), so I think KVM more fore advanced users while Workstation and virtualbox are more user friendly (or if you are windows user)
