Anyone know anything similar to cowboy bebop?

A while ago I watched cowboy bebop and absolutely loved it. However, I finished it fairly quickly and was left with a feeling that only bumfights has given me: "this was awesome, but it sucks that it's over". Does anyone know any good series with similar themes so I can fill the void it has left? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Samurai Champloo. Made by the same director, though some people don't think it's as good (in my opinion, they are both the same in terms of quality).
