I saw several high-ranked members self-banning themselves. Do u know why they did it?

@Ch4pl1n users do this for various reasons.Someone had personal matters, someone wanted to attract attention to themselves, and someone was just tired of the forum.They are mostly self-banning themselves so that it doesn't cause unnecessary questions from other forum members who may think that the user is busted or something bad has happened to him.

I actually don't know why people self ban.... because most of their stuff is still in the database... emails, username, encrypted-password, maybe IP
