The VPN that you don't need to trust is Tor. Yes it's not technically a VPN, but it's the one that truly doesn't let a single provider (server or node) know both your IP and the website your visiting.

A few solid ones people often recommend me are Mullvad, Proton VPN, and IVPN. They’re all privacy-focused and transparent about how they handle data.
