i don't understand - do i pick between the two? you said "autism is outdated". does that imply i choose which disorder is the best? in what regard? neither are fun, quirky, or cute. i'm someone who has severe psychosis unmedicated (bipolar disorder), to such a degree i could have died many times. i've seen and heard the horrible struggles individuals that suffer from actual schizophrenia have to deal with on a daily basis. i'm also going to get tested for autism spectrum disorder, as i'm almost positive i'm on the spectrum. comparing two vastly different struggles (both valid and difficult to live with in their own unique ways) seems a little offensive, don't you think? just a thought.
