apparently the white house wants to stop the usage of c++ and replace it with rust according to this document
personally i think its kinda weird i mean if you needed security you would have used a secure language like cobol from the start

i do think that c++ is an unsafe language and if to be used by anyone have it be kernel engineers and others in similar fields
but i dont think its even possible to stop the general public from using programming languages like c++ or even assembly for that matter

id assume the only way to fully stop people from coding in such languages is by spreading a whole bunch of misinformation or whatever and stopping people from starting to code in c++ in the first place
but thats treading on schizo-theory territory so i dont know
