Champloo Samurai
There are several reasons why I like this anime

1. My favorite character is Mugen.

2. Action. Even though this anime came out in 2005, the action is very good. It's fast, fluid, and still looks good by today's standards.

3. Theme/Ending. The first message is: Your past does not define who you are. It's okay to make mistakes, as long as you get up and fix them.

I give this anime, a rare 10/10.

The characters are simply defined so far, but if they have some good interactions, this might not be a problem. So far, they've done almost nothing, or at least said nothing, and since their characters are so bland and undeveloped (so far), it's hard to stay interested. The slow and subtle pacing works well for cowboy bebop, which is really painful here because cowboy bebop has rounded and complex characters that champloo doesn't have so far.
