If it helps you do something that doesn't prevent you from learning, then no. AI is a support but don't totally rely on it.

My contention with AI, is that it should be doing things like menial tasks, so people have more time to be creative.

It's actually gone in the opposite direction.

totally agree... people directly ask to IA to be creative instead of thinking by themself ....

agree. AI can be a useful tool but shouldnt be relied on completely for coding and especially not for art.

AI is the best thing that happened to me while learning to code, it's like a teacher that can explain and help me with anything that i don't know about without the effort of surfing websites and forums to find my problem, just too good

I see a lot of people denigrating people who write code or write things with the help of AI. is it stupid to use AI? These people often think they know too much. But they don't know anything, so when you say “hey, my fucking code is not working, can you take a look at it”, even if they don't know the answer, they will look at it and fuck it up. So why do people denigrate people who use artificial intelligence? It's absurd to write code entirely with chatgpt (it's like sending someone a localhost address as a message), but when you blend AI with your own code, it's 100% productive
(These are my personal opinions and generalizations. you can be a good coder or text generator I love you )

I think AI can be very useful. For example if you're trying to find an answer to something the plain internet wont just tell you clearly, simple scripts, advice, etc. I think it can be used poorly though, like for essays or anything school related as it kinda defeats the purpose of school. just my thoughts though.
