Ring of Power probably only hasn't simply because Wheel of Time was so fucking awful and it came out around a similar time. Their WOT adaption makes Ring of Power look like a fucking Scorsese series.

Yeah it isn't good, you didn't miss out. The books are enjoyable, if you can look past certain faults with pacing and how it splits up all the characters constantly.

The show somehow managed to completely change the plot, whilst still doing the exact same thing in the new story they put together. It's a huge waste of time.

I did see there was alot of hype for it, like that Golden Compass stuff (ANOTHER NOVEL TO TV ADAPTION THATS GOING TO CHANGE EVERYTHING) but nothing happened after it dropped and hardly anyone I knew spoke about it.
