Bug in Shoutbox:

The bug in shoutbox you mentioned is not a bug. When you connect to the shoutbox your username style is saved into the db. That's why you have to reload (basically re-connecting to the shoutbox) for the change to happen.

Alrighty so the bug happens when users change their username they still able to chat in shoutbox with their old username if they haven't reloaded
I demo this earlier by chatting with my old username and my current one at the same time (however i forgot to take a screenshot my apologies)
The method to do this is pretty simple, open two tabs, for this one im using this hidden service, leave one tab idle, and change username with the other tab,
with the other tab you will be able to message in shoutbox with your old username until you reload and with the tab you changed your username with ( or a new tab) you can chat with your new username, allowing u to chat with 2 handles at the same time!

What the fuck do you mean by "PGP encrypted private messages"? You want the forum to automatically encrypt them with a forum private key? That's the most retarded idea ever.

No you don't need to do that, have users upload their pgp public key to profile and automatically encrypt against it, the forum would have its own key, allowing automatic encryption of messages to the designated target user your that you are sending a message to. These would be able to be read only by the the target user and unable to be decrypted by the forum or anyone else who doesn't have hold the target users private key. The forum would delete the unencrypted private message and only the encrypted messages would be on the servers.
this would more then likely be an opt-in feature for users, as you would have to link your public key with your account

• 2FA - you can also do this with PGP
  
• A way to add self hosted emails to domain whitelist?
  
• Better Captcha for Hidden Service
  
• More Emojis!! also Animated ones!
  
• Larger PFP size support for GOD users (for gifs and etc)

at that point just send a privnote message, you can't trust anything server-side.

nigga at that point just send a one-view privnote message, you can't trust anything server-side.

You could definitely do that aswell, or just encrypt against the users pgp key using your own
