I am SyxA, a former founding member of HawkSec.
I am writing this post to put an end to that chapter of my life and to give some context about what happened behind the name HawkSec.
HawkSec was a cybercriminal group involved in various illegal online activities. At the time, we were deeply involved in that world, and what started as an interest in cybersecurity eventually went far beyond what was legal.
Over time, the group became increasingly active and attracted more attention. What seemed like an online community from the inside eventually became something much more serious, with real consequences for everyone involved.
Eventually, the authorities caught up with us. Members of the group were arrested and investigated, bringing our activities to an end.
For me, this is the final chapter of HawkSec. The group is no longer active, and I do not intend to continue participating in illegal activities.
I am not posting this to glorify what happened or encourage anyone to follow the same path. Looking back, there are things I would have handled very differently.
HawkSec is over. Whatever comes next is a different chapter.
