Fitgirl is a repacker, has nothing to do with cracking. And I don't even think TENOKE and FLT have crackers anymore, they add nothing of value by cracking games already released on p2p sites, just with worse emulators, later and without updates.

EMPRESS is not a scene group but a p2p individual, as egomaniac as it could get. Also gone for the time being, the cracks were trash since the method used was poorly constructed, but I guess people just want free games after all.

Video Game Publishers avoid tax, they get tax credits, tax credits come from the public, so essentially, we've paid them already for everything with our tax contributions. So p2p is fair game, and no game is *ever* Free

I wouldn't be surprised if a common answer for them is just that their skillset has grown in value immensely since the golden age of cracking
I'm sure whichever government they're each under would love to employ them

Seems like it has moved to the game hacking scene, as the hacks can be sold for profit.

I'd wish so but it's not, it's like people saying EMP would be paid millions by corporations. Businesses and govs can reach out to people without a criminal record, regulated education and better skills. It's true that crackers have been hired in some cases, but not anymore as far as I know, the last case I heard of happened several years ago with one of the SKIDROW crackers.
