Because of the channels it has I see it as a social media. It wont ever be a giant since it isnt policed like the main social media sites

Not being policed is not what makes it not become mainstream.
What prevents that is that it has much worse discoverability and is basically a chat app.

Right now, most of the sites use Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for their social networks. Telegram is gradually turning into something akin to a professional social network. In your opinion, is it possible in the future to see Telegram as part of a social network and make an account on it like you would with other social networks?
