loved psycho-pass, especially the exploration on how to control large groups of people. Too many dystopias really focus on oppressing everyone and sure u can do that, but like eventually people loose too much and then start rebelling. Psycho-pass has that veneer of utopia on top that i've always found really fun to explore

Probably Steins;Gate. It's a bit slow in the first half, but it uses that time to get you really invested in the characters. It's also interesting to see an anime show something resembling real scientific experimentation. Then once it gets going, it gets GOING and turns into an emotional rollercoaster.
