Try going for full-stack perhaps? You already have experience in web development so why not fill the extra void with some backend knowledge.

Machine learning is going to be worth trillions of dollars I literally can't think of an industry that wouldn't benefit from compiling datasets and running it through machine learning.

A restaurant could benefit greatly from using machine learning to analyze it's stock and daily orders to automate ordering more inventory and reducing waste.

A horticulture farm could benefit from using machine learning to adjust it's time cycling and analyze the nutrients being used etc.

I think on top of that blockchain technology enabling those datasets to securely and proprietorially between companies will be huge it reduces a lot of redundancy in computing this sort of data.
