I could never conceive and agree with the concept of these schools that just want to steal young people's money by giving them a crappy education and hiding lots of cases of bullying and other things.

I know a friend of mine who "visited" the school and talked to many student, they dont even give them some basic knowledge and understanding of simple concept.....

I think you can learn everything in the net by yourself. School is only for having diploma in order to found a job

But at least a school that not ask you 10k euros by year, public universities (free), or the 10 top engineer school,that imply having a better salary in your first job because of reputation. imho

At Epitech, it's a 50/50 split. Right now, I have to say that the school has a bad reputation, while 42 is considered the best.

At Epitech, you have very good coders who come out of it, And you have a lot of guys who are much less good or even really bad (the guys who will ask Chatgpt everything, and who will copy and paste without trying to understand). 

You have guys who are going to carry out projects of 4 people on their own, while the others sleep or don't do much. You have guys and girls who have very good results because they fuck with the top of the class.

And the worst part? There’s no real exam over the five years, so you can find a group that will do all your projects for you and still get your diploma. ( and then we wonder why there are so many data leaks in France lol)

Epitech trains you to code non-stop, and your sleep schedule will be completely messed up. You don’t get the well-rounded education that other universities might offer. At Epitech, you spend five years without doing much math or algorithms, and you never have to communicate with teams of non-technicians. It’s the school that constantly tells you they are the best coding school in France, and that university students are 10,000 times worse than us.

So, in addition to having mediocre students who don’t know how to work with non-tech people, you also get people with big egos. Needless to say, companies don’t like this attitude much.

And the cherry on top? It costs €50,000 for the entire course, and they cover up internal problems like harassment, suicide, and so ont.
