I've left twitter and telegram too. In Europe they've set up the Digital Services Act, I think that's what's going to push them to ask everyone for their digital identity. I'm looking into fediverses as an alternative.

In my view, he seems to be capitalizing heavily on his dedicated followers. Initially, he acquired Twitter, then urged users to pay for the blue verification tick, and later altered the name. Additionally, he's restricted the number of posts visible to regular users.
