Palestine does have some history. That whole zone has been in conflict well over 100 years now, thanks to the smelly Brittish with their messed up teef. WW1 era

And on the other side you have those who say israel is baby satan, america is papa satan.

If they can't get along with 2 state solution, then.. *shrug* Now it's at a point where other countries will just fund a side they like and watch them battle until one side perishes for good

I think it's hard to even call it a war when so far israel is completely leveling gaza without any significant resistance. yeah, hamas fucked some shit up with their sneak attack but they never posed a real threat to israel, just an opportunity to justify a genocide against palestine in the name of self defense. if hezbolla goes all in, the west bank revolts and if other groups and nations get involved, then it could be called a war but so far its just an ethnic cleansing.

I'd argue that Hamas didn't even existed to begin with. But medias made a fantom enemy to justify action.
It's pretty much a land grab to get access to the sea.
